RENEWABLE ENERGY MONTH - LOME

As part of its Executive Committee’s action plan, WAGEDO launched the “WAGEDO Renewable Energy Month” a regional initiative designed to promote clean energy solutions and awareness. This special program was successfully held across four West African countries, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Togo, and Niger bringing together stakeholders, experts, and youth to opportunities, discuss and challenges, highlight share innovative approaches to renewable energy and climate action. In Lomé, Continuing it happened on March 14, 2025. The event addressed the theme “Scaling-up Waste-to-Energy Solutions for Clean Cooking: Challenges and Opportunities.” This activity emphasized the importance of innovative approaches to tackle energy access and clean cooking needs, while showcasing Wagedo’s dedication to promoting sustainable and practical energy solutions across West Africa.
